K Singhania & Co has been recognised as a Winner in Shipping & Maritime at the India Business Law Journal Law Firm Awards 2026.
The recognition marks another milestone for the Firm’s shipping and maritime practice, built over more than 25 years of advising Indian and international clients on maritime, admiralty and shipping matters in India.
In its analysis, India Business Law Journal highlighted the Firm’s work across a range of matters, including charter party disputes, cargo claims, vessel arrests, regulatory issues and enforcement of foreign arbitral awards.
The publication also noted recent work involving a USD 750,000 claim concerning alleged vessel damage and wrongful cancellation under a charter party, regulatory advice relating to watercraft operations in India, and disputes involving cargo damage, forged bills of lading and withheld consignments.
The award reflects the breadth of the Firm’s experience in assisting shipowners, charterers, shipping companies and other maritime businesses with disputes, regulatory matters and cross-border issues involving India.
