Aer Lingus Ltd. vs. East West Travel and Trade links Limited, Bombay High Court –
foreign Client had leased their aircraft to the Defendant No. 1 and The Defendant No. 1 had failed to make payment for lease charges. We were successful in getting an order from Bombay High Court to take back the aircrafts outside India in case of breach of an aircraft lease.
Team Aer Lingus Ltd. vs. East West Travel and Trade links Limited, Bombay High Court –
This was a historic case, as the Bombay High Court for the first time allowed Team Aer Lingus to take their basekit for aircraft maintenance out of India without paying any charges to the Official Liquidator.
Airbus Industries v. Jaisukh-Arjan Bhai Patel & Ors., Bombay High Court, Writ Petition No. 4826 of 1992 –
The Firm was representing the Petitioner, a company registered in France, which manufacture airplanes. The Petitioner had sold their airplane to the Indian Airlines, which unfortunately crashed at Bangalore Airport. Hence, some of the family members of the victims of the air-crash filed a suit in the District Court of Texas claiming compensation based on strict product liability. The Petitioner herein filed a suit in City Civil Court, Mumbai against the claimants and the Indian Airlines, Director General of Civil Aviation and Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd. seeking to restrain them from continuing their suit in the United States District Court of Texas. The Firm was successful in getting an order from the Bombay High Court for restraining the legal heirs of the victims from moving before the Texas Court.
